The tears of a man
Who ever said a grown man won't cry?
Whoever told that lie,
Never walked in that man's shoes,
Every man has to pay his dues,
Sometime you win and sometime you lose,
Where is your friend when you feel the blues.
Not in a cheap bottle of booze,
He has a tear falling from his cheek,
Who ever said a grown man won't weep?
There are times when a grown man will cry,
When love slips though his hand,
it will put a tear in his eye.
You may see him smile and be fooled,
But inside his heart starts to bruise,
Fate sometime's plays games that are cruel,
He'd turn off his heart if he could choose,
But every man has to pay his dues,
He can't take any more bad news,
Where is your friend when you feel the blues?
Not in a cheap bottle of booze.
