Suicide Bomber They taught me to hide and hate
And seethe
As a boy
In school
The teachers who paddled
And school mates who
Pummeled me
In plain sight, the adults
Ignoring
I went home and watched wars
On TV
Cowboys and
Cavalry
Recipe
For disaster
Fuse
Litlong ago
It's quicker now
Or so they say
I'm told they go
Off at 6
And 7
The little boys;
They call it ADD
Chickens coming home
To roost
Playing Nintendo
Watching the news
Counting electric kills
Sucking sugared sodas
Biding their time
